The Region
The largest wine region in New Zealand, Marlborough’s climate is characterized by relatively cool temperatures, long hours of sunshine and significant diurnal temperature variation, leading to intense flavors and vibrant acidity in the grapes. The Dough winemaking team focuses on four sub-regions of Marlborough to craft a uniquely vibrant and sustainably farmed New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc: Wairau Valley, Lower Wairau Valley, Awatere Valley and Waihopai.
